Thank You

Hey all,

I want to thank each and every one of you for your interest and support. You are the reason why my work is continuing, and the reason why I'm evolving.

Big changes are on the way. As of this very moment, PianoKeyboarder.com is becoming my "history book". The site is entering a dormant phase indefinitely. Donations are no longer being accepted on this site, and those who have donated will continue to have access to the old music downloads. Their paid member status will also carry over to BrettMoulton.com.

You may see a different site layout here as I prepare it for its final touches, but I assure you that all content here will remain accessible.

This will be the last news article to ever be posted here, but this is not the end. I'll be reaching out to the public more than ever, and sharing a wealth of new music like you've never heard before at BrettMoulton.com. You are more than welcome to register ahead of time, as the site has not opened yet. However, the new site will launch this year in 2009. By registering ahead of time, you'll be notified by e-mail of when the site officially opens.

When BrettMoulton.com launches, PianoKeyboarder.com will redirect to the new site. Please add the following address to your bookmarks if you wish to continue accessing the original PianoKeyboarder.com after the new site launches:

Thanks again to everyone. I'm becoming a new artist. I hope to be heading into the big leagues in the coming years. You and other fans will decide that for me. Whatever the outcome, I enjoy writing and performing music, and I hope my future releases will touch your hearts in one way or another.

See you soon,

Brett Moulton

I know I'm killing you guys with the lack of any updates as of late, but I couldn't be more excited to tell you what's on the way.

Thanks to a better, more flexible job, and your extremely generous donations (of which I'm very thankful for), I am finally the owner of a professional music workstation. On top of that, I have the studio-quality microphone, all the computer hardware/software needed, and the free time to begin concentrating strictly on music. I have over 40 new songs written over the past two years alone, and none of you have heard any of them. There are two reasons for this: my voice needs to be recorded (which is getting better), and I'm learning how to make the music truly sound professional, between the computer software and the new keyboard I'm using.

Let's just say that anything on this website sounds awful compared to the quality and "fullness" of what is to come on the new website. There will even be lyrics, something completely new to all of you if you know my style. It isn't the end of simply instrumental, however. I'll be blending both styles.

If you haven't already, please register on the new website at:

I truly appreciate your interest. Thanks to everyone!

Moving Forward

As briefly mentioned in my last article, the long and mysterious holdup of the launch of BrettMoulton.com was due to a long debate with myself over whether to include vocals, and if so, who would be the voice. I've talked to a number of people who have some great voices, while at the same time I've been trying to tweak my voice to its highest potential.

In the end, I made the extremely tough but final decision to use my own voice. It's not impressive, but with time I hope to change that. I've been practicing daily for over a year now, and after comparing a recent voice clip with something from even just a year ago, I was shocked at the improvement from practice (me singing my own songs a year ago was out of the question, and no, I won't be sharing that clip, haha).

With that said, I want to thank people again for their very, very generous and kind donations. Because of your donations, I was able to purchase Propellerheads Reason 4 (upgraded from Reason 3), and I will be purchasing a studio-quality microphone, the Audio-Technica AT4047. I'm really excited and looking forward to sharing with you the music I've been holding back for quite some time.

For the time being, please friend-request me on MySpace! http://www.myspace.com/brettmoulton
